LIFE AT THE ESTATE
Let's start off by telling You what we are not....
We are not a big box nursing home or facility in which you become nothing more than a number
We do not provide nursing, we do everything but nursing. However, you can bring in your own nurse
We are not a home where our residents sit in an overcrowded hall, eating frozen food that was heated up in the microwave
Our residents wake up at their leisure and if they choose to have breakfast that day, they convene in our beautiful, naturally lit dining room. If it's a nice day, they can even listen to the sounds of nature and our creek which is about 100 feet away.
After lunch, some of our residents go out for a bit, utilizing their car if they still have one. Liliya and Kristina have a daily activity planned around 11 AM or sometimes they bring in a special guest speaker for after lunch.
Our residents can choose to stay in the quiet of their room or they can utilize our game room, great room or Peacock room. Depending on the time of year, we may have a fire running in our wood burning stove in the great room.
Lunch is at noon as is often the highlight of the day as far as eating goes. Chef John has a carefully planned menu that is designed to be as fresh as possible while delivering great tasting calories and nutrients to our residents.
Dinner is usually at 5 PM, cooked fresh once again by Chef John. He is always sure to get the input of our residents and make them their favorite comfort foods when the moment calls for it.
And then, it's wind down time. Our residents often choose to watch a classic movie, sometimes in black and white, sometimes with popcorn.
Our days are very peaceful. Our days are filled with love, care and a great respect for each of our residents personal preferences.
The Lambertville Estate is a home, it's our residents home. What could be better than living in a beautiful 10,000 square foot home, with your own room, on 20 serene acres, where you get all the assistance you need with daily living and everything is included???
